I'm American, and I speak, read, and write in American English. Writing is a talent, passion, and livelihood for me.
From Writer to Professional Copywriter
In 2015, I realized that there's a shortage of professionally trained copywriters, so I joined American Writers and Artists Inc. (AWAI).
In the years since, I've worked through many of AWAI's writing courses. I've learned the ins-and-outs of both B2C and B2B copywriting. I'm even an AWAI Verified copywriter!
I also have a lifetime of experiences that make me different from others and give me a unique perspective to write from. You can read about my roots for a peek into how I grew up, if you want to!

Today, I still live with my family in the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia.
I try to do almost everything by hand... I enjoy putting my heart and soul into the things I do, and I appreciate the lessons, endurance, and connection that doing things myself brings.
I'm a hardcore environmentalist and humanitarian. I love getting up close with nature. I'm serious about protecting, preserving, and restoring the natural systems and wild spaces of the Earth.
I love my family, animals, and good friends. I love to read, garden, and do handcrafts like tatting lace and wood carving (and I appreciate the good-quality tools that I use daily).
And I love writing for fantastic clients who sell cool stuff.
